Conor and Tracey's Wedding 16th October 2010

We started today's wedding with a trip across the Purbecks to Lulworth Castle for the wedding of Tracey and Conor. The day was bright with some glorious sunshine with a slight wind that was quite chilly.

The castle and grounds were quiet as it is closed on the day of a wedding. Inside the castle it was a hive of activity with preparations for the wedding. The wedding breakfast room was being dressed and the ceremony room was having some final touches made. It was looking really special.

Conor arrived by coach with his family who were over from Ireland staying at a local hotel for a pre- ceremony drink and photographs. The coach returned later with more guests some who had travelled as far from America for the wedding celebrations.

With the brides arrival imminent the guests took their seats. Tracey looked stunning and was soon ready to walk up the aisle with Alan her father to Conor who was waiting for her. Tracey made her entrance to the traditional sound of bagpipes.

The ceremony was full of happiness, smiles and laughter which reflects the couples personalities. With the formalities over the couple were ready to leave the ceremony, the guests burst into song with 'Thank You for the music', Tracey was unaware that this was going to happen and from the laughter and smiles it was obvious that she really enjoyed it.

The guests were greeted as they left the ceremony, another Irish tradition and were then invited to join the couple on the steps of the castle for a photograph of everyone before a drinks reception on the lawn at the rear of the castle. In the sun it was really quite pleasant and while the guests enjoyed champagne and canapes the formal group photographs were taken.

We took Tracey and Conor off for a short time around the grounds for photos of the newly married couple. As we were coming to the end of our time with them the guests were invited to take their seats for the wedding breakfast, with everyone seated the couple were announced in to a rapturous round of applause.

We would like to thank everyone for making the day run smoothly and wish Conor and Tracey all the very best for their future together. We look forward to seeing them again soon.

Graham and Deborah's Wedding 2nd October 2010

A later start for us today as we were to start with the Groom's arrival at the church, St Saviour in Iford. The forecast for today wasn't looking good, rain was on it's way and it was just a matter of when it would reach us.

Graham arrived in a London red cab courtesy of a couple of friends who were also called Deborah and Graham and was met by Mark the best man. Mark is multi tasking today as he is also giving his sister Deborah away! We felt a few spots of rain while we waiting for Deborah but it was still holding off.

Deborah arrived in a car supplied by Superwed with Scarlett the bridesmaid and looked amazing in her red wedding dress from Chameleon bridal. This was the second week running that one of our brides had married in red.

The friendly vicar Andy put the couple at ease and conducted a lovely ceremony after which the the newly married couple processed out of the church to the gardens for the formal group photographs. The guests were co-operative with getting the photos done quickly as Graham and Deborah wanted to go to the beach for their photos, it was going to be a race against time before the rain arrived so we had no time to lose.

A short drive across to Boscombe and we were soon on the beach. We often use this area for beach photography as it's also handy for the pier which we particularly like. We were so lucky to have got the location photography done without the rain which was now really threatening.

A short trip to The Orchid Hotel a chic boutique hotel in Bournemouth where the reception was being held and the guests were waiting for the Bride and Groom to arrive for the wedding breakfast. As the guests were seated we bid our farewell and it had just started to rain, what timing!!!!

We wish Graham and Deborah all the very best for their future together and look forward to seeing them again when they return from their honeymoon.

Russ and Sarah's Wedding 25th September 2010

The Miramar Hotel was the venue for Russ and Sarah's wedding ceremony and reception. They were hoping to hold their ceremony outside in the hotel's beautiful gardens. Fortunately the weather has changed completely from yesterday and although there was a slight breeze it was nice enough to hold the ceremony outside.

We met Sarah and her bridesmaids in her room at the Miramar where the preparations were well underway. Sarah's dress from Fab Frocks looked quite stunning and the charcoal bridesmaids dresses were going to compliment it
well. While the girls dressed we met Russ and his Groomsmen for some photos before returning to Sarah and the girls.

With the guests seated the bridesmaids made their entrance followed by Sarah who was accompanied by her Dad who gave her away. Sarah looked stunning in her red dress which suited her so well with her dark colouring.

With the ceremony over and a glass of champagne enjoyed we headed off down the cliff lift to the beach with the newly married couple. The red dress against the blue sky and sea looked amazing.

On returning to the hotel the couple had a few photos with their guests before heading off into the hotel for the wedding breakfast.

A short break before the evening entertainment allowed the couple and guests a chance to freshen up. With the arrival of the evening guests it was time for the first dance which Sarah and Russ did really well before inviting their guests to join them on the dance floor.

We would like to thank Russell the Best man for his assistance with helping to make the day run smoothly.

We would also like to thank Sarah and Russ for their hospitality and hope that they are enjoying their honeymoon across the pond and look forward to seeing them when they return. We wish them all the best for their future together.
